PopSci needed a Design Director. Like, right away. I got the call and accepted a daunting challenge. Their longtime Design Director had moved on unexpectedly and they had to produce the next issue immediately. I was freelancing at the time and this was an incredible opportunity. But an intimidating one. There were big shoes to fill, lots to learn, and time was tight. Group CD Sean Johnston got me up to speed and we got right to work. Photo Director Thom Payne, Sean, and I had a blast producing the first issue and went on to make two more. I’m very proud of the work we created and eternally grateful for this amazing opportunity.
